I don't know about you guys, but I am super excited at the beginning of each year. It's the time when I am at peak creativity. Out with the old and in with the new...my batteries do their charging when I am creating new designs.
I'm so excited about this new line I've been working on...for a number of reasons. First, because I'm cutting my own gemstones....well, not actually cutting, more like chipping away at a chunk of raw amethyst and citrine with a hammer and concrete screw. I'm also sawing coral (didn't realize how hard it was until it cut the teeth off three saw blades).
Another cause for my excitement is not just one, but two new styles of ear jackets. I'm bringing in a new level of edginess with distressed, painted Sterling Silver ear jackets. The second style is a flatter ear jacket with curled edges. These really lend themselves to the rawness of the rough cut gemstones.
